Google Search for Specific Topics
We all search the web using keywords or keyword phrases for many topics using search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc to provide us with useful information on a particular topic.
I have been watching and noticing the stats on my site meter for the location my visitors came from, such as a Google Search. Listed below are a few of the keyword phrases that have been used to find Helpful Resources for New Bloggers as one of Google's choices for the information pertaining to these keyword phrases.
Do you have a way to monitor where your traffic is coming from? If not, you may want to review How to Add a Free Site Meter to your Blog. The site meter will give you information as to how many visitors and page views you receive in a day, week, month and a year. The site meter can also be very helpful to learn the location your visitors came from and what keywords they used to find your site (look to referrals on the site meter for this information).

Good points Sherry. I would add that using keywords in your blog post title will also help. Keep on bloggin'.
semcertification,
I agree, keywords in the post title are very important. Thank you for commenting on my blog and also for joining my MyBlogLog community. You have lots of great info on your blogs and I'll be sure to stop by often.
Sherry, How can I see what words people are searching for when they find me through? I was unable you could find this out. Thanks for the help.
antman,
Well, I have a site meter on my blog and also in MBL, you can click on the section for viewing stats "Where Readers Came From" in MBL, click on search and if there was a google search it gives you the google search keyword they used to find you.
The site meter on my blog shows the URL address of the visitor under referrals and when I see www.google search, I click on that and it takes me to the page my visitor found me on. If I look in the area they typed in the keywords for the search, that's where I can view exactly what they typed in.
For you, I googled Shout Out and you were on the first page of Google. :)
